When we were asked to come up with a creative concept for Louis Vuitton’s Vogue Fashion’s Night Out out we had recent memories of some photobooth fun…We love photo booths and especially have a fondness for well equipped ones with lot’s of props to distract from any blink in the spotlight shyness.
A dream commission then to make Louis Vuitton trunkfuls of headpieces and props for their Maison Stores in Paris and London to bring our concept to life. Inspired by the accessories in their recent shows, we made origami rabbit ears, giant layered paper bows, and then inspired by general fabulousness we created trailing mohicans, explosive shoulder pads and Daliesque paper moustaches…I was forced to stop at winged visors and eye patches (an origami restraining order was enforced.) We also made super-sized LV Vogue rosettes for the Booth Attendants to wear. All fashioned from the pages of Vogue. Our most Glamorous exercise in Fashion recycling yet…
